Top 5 Artists across different music genres
Many people are stuck with the same artists that they listen to all day and are slowly becoming uninterested in them. While on the other hand, some think that it is very important to try and listen to different artists and see what new music artist or sound you might like. This list is all about the top five artists in different music genres. Full disclosure, this article covers artists from across the world and it is very biased.
I personally think that this topic is very important because people seem to base the music they listen to off of their race. For example, if a black person saw another black person listening to music that isn’t rap or soul music, they would criticize them for it: “You are a black person, so you should listen to black music” or “Why are you listening to that?” These are backhanded and sometimes xenophobic comments. Although this might not happen to a lot of people, it happens very frequently. Music is not based on your race. It’s based on what you like, and what you prefer.
Hopefully, many of you will learn more about these artists and consider whether or not you might have an interest in them.
