To myself,

I wish you’d let people in

more often.

Not everyone you come across

has bad intentions,

and the sooner you realize that,

the better.

Don’t be so afraid of the pain,

embrace it,

turn it into something good,

then share that good with the world!

Don’t be so hard on yourself,

we all make mistakes,

but that’s just how we learn;

how we grow.

Lastly,

don’t be afraid to love/ be loved.

Love is a beautiful thing,

that’s unpredictable,

somewhat painful,

but worth it in the end.

Don’t let the past dictate your future.

To Maddy,

I wish we had met

earlier on in life,

but I’m more than happy

to have you in my life now.

You’re smart,

honest,

kind, when you want to be,

and the moon to my stars.

I’m so happy to have

such a beautiful,

loving,

caring best friend,

like you.

Of all of my “friends”,

you were one of the only true ones,

and for that,

I am forever thankful.

No matter what happens in the future,

know that I’m here for you.

I’m here to listen to your rants,

all of your Harry Styles chats,

your sarcastic jokes,

and your sweet little check-in texts.

Lastly,

don’t ever change for anyone,

but you.

To Aneshia,

I wish you didn’t speak so terribly

about yourself

because you’re one of

the best people I know.

You’re smart,

funny,

beautiful,

and so talented.

You’re an amazing writer,

whose stories inspire me

to continue writing.

When I first met you,

I felt instantly

connected to you.

Your personality and

the vibes you gave off

just drew me in.

I love how we can joke around

with each other,

then have a serious conversation.

I love seeing you grow

as an individual.

I hope that you become

 everything

that you want to be in life,

and I hope that you get

everything

you’ve ever wanted.

Lastly,

always remember that

I love you.
