My favorite holiday is Christmas
Christmas, Christmas,
I love the smell of the pine trees
Looking at the trees now without leaves
Smiles on peoples faces
People going out to buy presents
Some might stay in
Some might like to go out
Whether you’re up and about
Christmas is a time of joy
It’s a time when your family gets together
People who can’t come usually send out letters
It’s a holiday of joy
Children get toys
Laughter fills up the room
Hearts are warmed
Man, do I love Christmas
Where presents come in all shapes or forms
This is a very sad poem, for this is what I felt last year.
This Christmas is something we might all fear
What new catastrophes might pop up at the end of this year?
Because 2020 is not done
So it is not yet time for fun
No more gathering
No going to the malls
It’s hard to go outside and play in the snow
Frowns on peoples faces because this was a bad year
Many forget about Christmas and only look up to a new year
This took a twisted turn but this is just what I think
Times are tough and the best thing you can do is wait
A new Christmas will come soon there’s no need to worry
Just focus on making the best out of this one
Just focus on having fun
Focus on your family and yourself,
Because Christmas is too important to waste.
