Ai will make it way harder to get jobs. And way easier to get replaced.
AI (Artificial Intelligence) gives computer systems the ability to perform tasks that usually require human intelligence. AI came about in 1956, however it wasn’t popular until around 2023 when people started to use AI for work and entertainment. I personally don’t use AI for creative work, unlike other people. The only time I would use AI is for questions, information, and homework. I believe AI will make it way harder to get jobs, and it will replace humans in many types of jobs. I say this because AI is already taking over human jobs like driving, making deliveries, housekeeping, and more.
AI Will Take Jobs
AI is already taking jobs from humans. I say this because Tesla made self-driving cars, and these could be replacing Uber drivers later in the future. And it’s not that hard to replace them. All Tesla would need to do is lower down the price of a ride, making a self-driving car less expensive than an Uber. There are already self-driving cars in China, Japan, and many more places.
AI could also soon be replacing waiters, doctors, artists, musicians, website designers, housekeepers, teachers, police officers, delivery drivers, and more. It’s very possible for AI to become a police officer if humans advance AI enough. People are already using delivery robots to get things, and turning to AI chatbots for help with their health.
AI Makes Art Worse
Ai makes art through machine learning models trained on massive datasets of images that already exist online. It’s also learned from the internet about art making techniques and art styles.
In the wrong hands, AI art could be used for bad things, like to copy someone’s identity or to cheat on their school work or work they’re paid to do. AI art is not always gonna be accurate even when making images that are supposed to look real. AI can also malfunction, or ‘hallucinate’ and not do its job properly.
For example, this image of Goku is AI art, which I personally think looks bad. This looks nothing like the original Goku, who has a blue shirt under his orange shirt, which this image does not have. His eyes also do not look accurate to Goku’s eyes in the anime or manga. I think humans are better at art than AI because I’ve seen humans make and draw characters way better than AI, because AI lacks real human experience.
People Use AI Too Much

People have been using AI a lot. Some do it when they’re feeling lazy, they use AI because it can do their homework, or even their real job, for them. For example, an ad for the new SpongeBob movie was made with AI, which means the advertisement creators weren’t using their own intelligence to make it on their own. Lots of different ads are made this way now. Students like me use AI to do our math, science, history, and ELA work sometimes, but it’s not even worth it. Half the time it works and the other half the time they give me the wrong answer! AI has also been used to make video games, which I’m personally okay with if it’s a fan made game. Fan made games are usually made by teens or young adults that don’t really know what they’re doing. Like, what if a student was 90% done with their game, but they had lots of deadlines for schoolwork, so they had to rush on the game and use AI. That’s why you can get away with using AI in a fan made game. It’s bad when a whole company uses AI in their games, but then makes the game still cost the same. I saw a game company use AI in a teaser for a game called Plants and Zombies, and it made the whole game look bad. The comments section was brutal too… let’s just say the fans did not like it! The developers of the game should get paid to actually make the art and gameplay, they aren’t supposed to be paid to let AI do it, that’s just being lazy.
