Do you know what Duolingo is, and why you should use it? Duolingo is a learning app where you can learn a lot of things. Not only a lot of languages, but also math, music, and chess. It also has a pet, a little green owl that’s called Duo. After reading this, you will want to download it if you haven’t already. Duolingo works as a game. Simply, they ask you questions depending on what you are learning, and if you answer correctly, you pass to the next level, but if you answer wrong, they will take energy from you, and what do you need to answer the questions? Yup, energy, so the whole point is to not get the questions wrong. As someone who has played Duolingo for almost two years, I can say that it’s a really good learning app.

First, you pick what you want to learn, like math, chess, music, or a language. Then it tests how much you know about the subject, like if you want to learn Spanish, it gives you a short test to see how much you know in order to be more accurate about where you have to start. That’s where the fun starts, you are on a path, and the idea is to go to the next level by making the least amount of mistakes. You can also compete against other people to get the highest amount of gems, and you get gems by getting Expo. How do you get to the Expo? By passing the levels, and with the more answers you have correct, the more Expo you get. This has impacted me because it’s really fun, and since I’m a competitive person, this game became addictive.

Duolingo is a good learning app because it’s free. Language class costs vary widely, from $15 to $85+ per hour for private tutors, and $300-$1200+ per month for group courses, depending on online vs. in-person, location, with group sessions averaging around $15-$50 per session or hundreds monthly. It’s important that Duolingo is free because, as you can see, learning a language is expensive. Duolingo is all-in-one because not only do they offer languages, but they also have chess and music programs.

Duolingo is a good learning app because you can learn anywhere and at any time you want. The only thing you need is to open your phone and start playing. If you are in a private class, you will have to wait till the day you have to go, or if it’s online, you could have connection problems. Duolingo needs very little internet, and you can play it every time you want. This impacts the way you learn because you could learn without being stressed or having pressure on you. You can learn calmly and understand what you are doing.

Duolingo is a learning app where you can learn a lot of things. Duolingo works like a game, making it fun and easy to learn. It’s free, so you don’t need to worry about extra things, and because you can learn anywhere and every time you want, it’s a calm and easy way to learn.
